Hotel Maison de Ville Recognized as Top Hotel in 2005
Historic New Orleans property featured in industry listings of world's best hotels

New Orleans, LA, March 2005--Securing its reputation as one of New Orleans' finest properties, Hotel Maison de Ville was recently honored with distinctions from several leading travel publications. The historic 19th century inn was named to Conde Nast Traveler's Eleventh Annual Gold List Reserve, and Travel + Leisure's "T+L 500." In addition, the hotel was distinguished as a recommended property in Conde Nast Johansens' 2005 Guide.

Singled out for its "historic feel and utterly civilized atmosphere," Hotel Maison de Ville garnered a spot on the prestigious T+L 500. Each year, Travel + Leisure turns to its reader evaluations to compile this list of the world's 500 highest-rated properties.

This also marks the fourth consecutive year that Hotel Maison de Ville has appeared on the Gold List Reserve, Conde Nast Traveler's annual listing of the world's top hotels, resorts, and cruise lines. While the T+L 500 and the Gold List reserve are derived from guests' feedback, the Guide bases its recommendations on a rigorous inspection process.
